Pick a deployment type
The FOB Deploy menu offers Story Missions, Dynamic Operations, and Free Roam. Side Ops are additional activities you can take on in Hajin. Read the brief and check the objectives before committing your kit.
- Story Missions follow the DMZ narrative. The briefing shows objectives and available rewards, and the menu lets you replay missions.
- Dynamic Operations send the squad into a multi-step operation. Call of Duty lists cash, XP, and squad Supply Drops as rewards, with higher drop rarity as operations are completed.
- Free Roam lets you deploy without a selected mission. Use it when your priority is exploration, gathering materials, or working on an active Order.
Review DMZ Orders at the FOB
The DMZ Orders station shows ongoing directives, arranged into Pages, with their completion requirements and rewards. Orders can teach a mode mechanic, advance the narrative, or grant supplies, cash, and progression. Your active Orders are also visible during deployment.
Suggested squad plan: read each player’s Order requirements before selecting a Story Mission. Pair an Order with the mission when they use the same area or equipment. Confirm whether the Order calls for extracting a specific item before a teammate sells, consumes, or carries it.
Plan the objective and the exit together
After spawning, check the objective marker, radiation, timer, and available exits on the Tac-Map. Briefings and in-game markers give the run-specific information that you need to adjust your approach.
Suggested route order: choose the required objective first, plan an exit, then add one nearby optional activity if time and armor allow. Once you have the required item or completion, check the HUD and move toward extraction before taking another fight.
